I am a solo developer and active investor. I built NWN because I wanted one place to view all my stock positions across multiple brokerages without flipping between apps and spreadsheets all day.
The original goal was simple: if I needed this, other people probably needed it too. So I decided to build a cleaner tool I would actually use myself and bring that product to people around me.
Transparency is a core product principle.
I hate having to dig through Google, Reddit, Quora, and random forum threads just to understand what a product really costs. NWN is designed to be direct and upfront about pricing and fees so you can decide quickly with full context.
As the product evolves, the same standard applies: clear information, plain language, and no hidden surprises.
